The "Signature Delegation" feature allows the recipient of a signature request to delegate his/her signature authority to another person.
For example, this feature can be used when the recipient of a signature request does not have the authority to sign the request and would like to delegate signature authority to a supervisor within the company.
While it is possible to forward a regular signature request email to another person, it is not recommended since no history of email forwarding is kept in the application and the correct signer information cannot be tracked.
The "Signature Delegation" feature tracks when and to whom signature authority was delegated, and the details are recorded on the history page in the app, thus ensuring legal proof.
The Signature Delegation feature is only available with the Prime plan.
