The "Guarantor" role feature allows the sender of a document to delegate the authority to designate the guarantor's information (name/email address/phone number) to other signers in documents that require a guarantor, co-signer, etc.
*To use the "Guarantor Role" feature, it is necessary enable 'Allow teammates to use "guarantor" role' from the team settings page (available to group owners only).
*The "Guarantor Role" feature can only be used when creating a new template（Create a SignTime Template）
【How to add a guarantor when creating a template】
1. Add guarantor in the "Roles Involved" section when creating a new template
After adding a signer, check the "Signer Sequencing" checkbox to enable the "Add Guarantor" button.
*At least one signer must be added to use this feature
2. Set roles
Click "Add Role" to add a signer / CC (viewer), or "Add guarantor" to add a guarantor.
For guarantor roles, select the signer you wish to designate specifying the guarantor's information from the drop-down list.
(The drop-down shows a list of signers you have already added as roles involved.)
*The signer to specify the guarantor must be set to sign before the guarantor (signer sequencing)
3. Set other items and click "Next" button to move to the field setting screen
Set up the required fields for signers and guarantors.
4. Click "Next" button to complete template creation.
【How to send documents with a template with a guarantor】
1. Click on the "Launch" button of the template you want to send
2. "People Involved" setting
Enter the name email/phone of each role.
Guarantor information does not need be entered. A label, "To be specified by Signer" will be displayed instead.
If you intend to send documents to the guarantor by SMS as well, check the "Send SMS-notifications" checkbox during this step.

3. Check the preview screen and complete the signature request.
