- Click "Import" from the top menu → "Import Document" button
※The "Import" tab is only visible if you have applied for ScanTime
- Import Document
Click "Choose File" to select a file to import.
- Document Description
【Name】
Enter name of the document.
【Note】
Enter notes regarding the document.
※name and note is not editable after import (current as of April 2023)
【Tag List】
Can be used to keep documents organized and easy to search. Multiple tags can be added by separating tags with a comma (,).
※Can be added/edited/deleted in the document details page after importing
Utilizing Tags (examples)
- For an invoice received from Company A: I-0001 (I: Invoice, 0001: Company A's customer ID)
- For a contract received from Company A: C-0001 (C: Contract, 0001: Company A's customer ID)
- For a receipt received from an employee: R-3001 (R: Receipt, 3001: Employee ID)
※SignTime search allows for partial matching
- Settings
Select "Add Timestamp" if timestamp is necessary. Timestamps can only be added at the time of import and cannot be added later. If you need to comply with the Electronic Bookkeeping Law, please be sure to select "Add Timestamp".
- Advanced Settings
Enter "Company Name", "Contract Dates", and "Amount" (requirements of the Electronic Bookkeeping Law)
※Can be added/edited/deleted in the document details page after importing
- Click "Next"
After reading through the Terms of Use, click "Next" to complete the import.
Once the import is complete, a list of all imported documents will be displayed.
