The Alert function is an automatic alert email sent to the document creator XX days prior to the "Contract Date" of the document. The number of alert days can be changed per document
*Alert function is available only for paid plan users.
*The alert function is available for both "e-Signature" and "ScanTime".
1. e-Signature:
Select "Send a Document," upload a document that requires a signature request and enter the document's information. *Prepare Document for Requesting an E-Signature
ScanTime:
Select "Import Document," upload a document and enter the document's information. *How to Use ScanTime
2. Enter "Contact start date, Contact end date" and "Notify me about the contract end date ## days before" in "Advanced Settings".
*The "Notify me about the contract end date ## days before" can be entered as a number from 1 to 999.
*For documents that do not require alerts, leave the "Notify me about the contract end date ## days before" field blank.
*If you are using the alert function, the "Contact start date, Contact end date" fields are required. The "Company Name" and "Amount" fields are not required, but are recommended to be entered as well.
Fill in the other required fields, set the fields, and submit the document.
*Prepare Document for Requesting an E-Signature

(You can repeat the re-setting to receive alerts as many times as you like: 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, 1 day, etc.)
*Default: Off
*The default number of alert days is applied to all documents in the group, but each user can change the number of alert days for each document when sending the document.
